Privacy Policy

Last updated July 8, 2026

The short version. Music Master has no accounts, no ads, and no third-party trackers, and it doesn't sell or share your information. Your practice history and settings live on your own device. We built it this way on purpose.

Music Master is a music-theory practice app and website. This policy explains what we do — and mostly don't do — with information, in plain language. It covers both the Music Master apps (iPhone and Android) and the website at musicmaster.studio.

What we never do

  • No account. You don't sign up, log in, or give us a name, email, or phone number to use Music Master.
  • No advertising and no ad networks. There are no ads and no advertising identifiers.
  • No third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. We don't embed Google Analytics, Facebook, or any similar tools, and we don't track you across other apps or websites.
  • No selling or sharing. We do not sell, rent, or trade information about you to anyone.

The apps (iPhone & Android)

The apps are fully self-contained. Your quiz history, lesson progress, practice streak, settings, and anything you make in the Studio (loops and compositions) are stored only on your device. None of it is sent to us or to anyone else — the app works completely offline. The only time the app talks to the network is to complete a purchase or restore one, which is handled by Apple or Google (see Purchases).

The website (musicmaster.studio)

  • Your progress stays in your browser. The quizzes you finish and your stats are saved in your browser's local storage on your device. They are never sent to us, and clearing your browser data removes them.
  • Anonymous practice data. To power features like question shuffling and the daily mix, our server records quiz activity (which questions were answered and whether they were correct). This is not linked to any identity, account, or device — there is nothing in it that identifies you.
  • No cookies from us. The site does not set tracking or advertising cookies and does not create user sessions.
  • Privacy-friendly analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and measure page performance. It is cookieless, collects no personal data, and cannot identify you or track you across sites.
  • Standard technical logs. Like any website, requests pass through our hosting and security provider (Cloudflare), which processes standard connection information such as IP address for security, abuse prevention, and reliability. We do not use this to build a profile of you.

Purchases

Music Master Pro (an annual subscription and a one-time lifetime unlock) will, once the app launches, be sold and processed entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play. We never see or receive your payment card, billing address, or Apple/Google account details. Your device simply tells the app whether Pro is active. Payment handling is governed by Apple's and Google's own privacy policies.

Children

Music Master is suitable for all ages and is designed so that it collects no personal information from anyone, including children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your region).

Your choices

  • Delete your data anytime. On the website, clearing your browser storage removes your saved progress. In the apps, deleting the app removes everything it stored on your device.
  • Purchases are managed in your Apple ID or Google account settings.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change what information is involved — for example, if a future feature requires collecting something — we will update this page and the "last updated" date above before that feature ships.
