Terms of Use

Last updated July 8, 2026

The short version. Music Master is a music-theory learning tool for your personal use. Most of it is free; Music Master Pro will be an optional purchase billed through Apple or Google. It's provided as-is, and anything you create in the Studio is yours.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Music Master apps and the website at musicmaster.studio (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

The Service

Music Master provides music-theory quizzes, interactive lessons, ear training, and a playable synth Studio, for education and practice. Core learning content is free to use. The Service is provided for your personal, non-commercial use.

Acceptable use

Please don't misuse the Service. In particular, don't:

  • copy, resell, or redistribute the app's content (questions, lessons, audio, or artwork) as your own;
  • reverse-engineer, tamper with, or attempt to bypass purchases or access controls;
  • disrupt, overload, or attack the website or its infrastructure.

Music Master Pro

Music Master Pro will launch with the Music Master app for iPhone and Android. The terms below describe how it will work once the app is available.

Music Master Pro unlocks the full Studio (additional instruments and console powers), audio export, cosmetic themes, and future content. It is offered as:

  • an auto-renewing annual subscription, and
  • a one-time lifetime purchase.

Current prices are shown in the app before you buy. For subscriptions:

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account at confirmation of purchase.
  • The subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
  • You can manage or cancel anytime in your App Store or Google Play account settings; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
  • Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their terms. Apple App Store purchases are also subject to Apple's standard licensed-application end-user license agreement: apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula.

Everything included in the app at the time you buy stays available; free content remains free.

What you create

Loops, compositions, and other things you make in the Studio are yours. They are stored on your device, and we claim no ownership of them.

Our content

The Service and its content — including questions, lessons, software, sound design, and branding — are owned by Music Master and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms don't grant you any rights to them beyond using the Service as intended.

Disclaimers

Music Master is an educational tool provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. It is for learning and practice and is not a certification or a substitute for formal instruction. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Music Master will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Where liability can't be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the Service, if any, in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date; continuing to use the Service means you accept the current Terms.
